At present, with a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial change accelerating, the new materials, as a strategic and fundamental industry, is becoming the core engine to promote green low-carbon transformation and high-end manufacturing upgrade. With the in-depth promotion of the “dual-carbon” goal and the full implementation of the “14th Five-Year Plan” for the Development of New Materials Industry, the industry has ushered in unprecedented development opportunities.
New materials R&D strongly contributes to the development of new energy, and artificial intelligence is the driving force to promote the development of science and technology by leaps and bounds, the optimization and upgrading of industry, and the overall leap in productivity. We urgently need AI to predict material innovation, material structure generation and intelligent efficiency improvement.
SNEC “Advanced Graphene & New Materials Applied Technologies Summit” focuses on graphene scientific research and technology application, and gradually develops to the “new materials in the field of new energy applications”: two-dimensional new materials technology to the development of chips, sensors; solar power generation from PERC to TOPCON, perovskite and other technologies; technology to artificial intelligence development. On this basis, SNEC2025 this forum will be formally adjusted to “International Summit on the Application of New Materials in New Energy”. Themed by “New Materials - New Energy - AI New Methods”, this Summit focus on the following topics: first, the application of new materials in the field of new energy; second, accelerating the digital transformation of new materials R&D and application; third, new methods of artificial intelligence to promote new materials research.
The government work report proposes to promote high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement, vigorously promote innovation driven development, and promote industrial structure optimization and upgrading. This summit will gather experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from the fields of government, industry, academia, research, and application to jointly explore the cutting-edge trends and industrialization paths of new material technology. With the support of government, industry, academia, research, and financial resources, it will become a platform for experts, scholars, and engineers in the new energy industry to exchange ideas in this field. Provide strategic guidance and practical experience for the innovative development of the new materials industry, and help China's new materials industry move towards the high-end of the global value chain.
